Circa 1900–1915, most likely English Edwardian.

Elegant Edwardian figured mahogany display cabinet or bookcase dating to the early 20th century, featuring a tall rectangular case with beautifully figured mahogany panels flanking a large central glazed door. The door opens to reveal a spacious fitted interior with multiple wooden shelves suitable for displaying books, china, porcelain, glass, collectibles, or decorative objects.

Below the cabinet is a full-width dovetailed drawer retaining decorative period-style brass drop hardware. The case is raised on handsome turned and vertically fluted front legs joined by a shaped stretcher, with straight rear supports providing stability. A molded cornice and subtly shaped upper gallery complete the restrained Edwardian design.

The rich mahogany grain is particularly attractive across the front panels and drawer, giving this cabinet considerably more visual interest than a plain mahogany example. Its relatively shallow 16-inch depth also makes it practical for use in a dining room, living room, library, office, or hallway.

A handsome and useful antique cabinet with strong architectural presence and excellent display potential.

Good antique condition with noticeable age and use-related wear. Structurally, the cabinet appears substantial and generally sound. The glazed door and shelving are present, and the lower drawer retains its dovetailed construction and decorative hardware.

There are scattered scratches, abrasions, finish loss, veneer imperfections and surface marks throughout.  Additional minor edge and foot wear is present. These condition issues are clearly visible in the photographs and should be considered when pricing.
