Elegant two-door Chinoiserie-inspired cabinet by the renowned John Widdicomb Company of Grand Rapids, Michigan. This sophisticated mid-to-late 20th century piece features a gracefully bowed front case decorated with hand-painted Asian-inspired scenes depicting flowering trees, cranes, butterflies, and landscape motifs set against a rich green ground. The doors and sides are framed by gilt Greek key borders accented with gilt floral corner ornaments, while the rounded corner posts and tapered legs provide classical architectural balance.

The cabinet is surmounted by a striking faux black marble painted top with veined decoration, complementing the refined decorative scheme. The interior is fitted with two shallow upper drawers above a shelf, providing versatile storage for dining, living room, or entryway use. The original John Widdicomb brass maker’s plaque remains present inside the drawer.
