Late 19th Century, Hand carved Walnut frames, High backs, Tapestry upholstered backs and seats, Brass nailhead trim, One chair is larger than the other, Larger chair has barley twist carving, Smaller chair has front paw feet, Arms on both chairs have acanthus leaf carvings. Absolutely beautiful, well made and beautifully upholstered. Would make great accent chairs in a sitting area or captain chairs for a dining table. Great condition, very minor stains in some areas (see all photos), no pet or smoke smells, and very sturdy.
