Handsome pair of Neoclassical style table lamps featuring sculptural ram’s head masks supporting an elegant black urn-form body with antiqued gilt accents. The lamps rest on stepped hexagonal bases and retain their coordinating burgundy empire shades. Inspired by French Empire and Regency design, these decorative lamps make an impressive addition to a library, study, living room, or executive office. Both lamps illuminate properly at the time of cataloging.
Condition:
Very good vintage condition with light age-related wear consistent with use. Both lamps are operational. Minor finish wear to the gilt and black surfaces, light oxidation to the brass sockets, and minor wear to the shades.
