Description:
A handsome French Louis XV style walnut armoire featuring an elegant serpentine bonnet crowned by an impressive hand-carved Rococo crest with scrolling acanthus foliage. The two full-length mirrored doors are framed by graceful molded panels and retain their original beveled, shaped mirrors with beautifully flowing Rococo outlines. Rich walnut veneers are arranged in striking book-matched and herringbone patterns throughout, while the case is further embellished with carved floral and foliate details, shaped skirt, and graceful cabriole feet.
The spacious interior offers three adjustable shelves, making the cabinet ideal for use as a linen press, wardrobe, display cabinet, or general storage piece. Its refined proportions and exceptional French styling allow it to serve equally well in traditional, European, or transitional interiors.

Condition:
Good antique condition consistent with age and use. Original beveled mirrors remain intact with expected light age-related silvering and minor surface wear. Walnut veneer and finish present well overall with scattered finish wear, minor scratches, edge wear, and small losses to molding consistent with age. Interior is clean and structurally sound.
