An elegant French Louis XV style full-size bed crafted in richly figured walnut with graceful serpentine lines and finely executed Rococo carving throughout. The impressive headboard features an elaborate pierced shell and acanthus crest flanked by sweeping scrolls, with carved floral and foliate decoration accenting the book-matched walnut panels. The matching footboard echoes the flowing serpentine form with a deeply carved central cartouche and scrolling floral ornament. Supported by molded cabriole feet, this bed embodies the romantic elegance of French provincial design. Includes original side rails, wood cross supports, and decorative wood rail covers, making it ready for installation with a box spring and mattress.
