Chesterfield-style three-seat sofa upholstered in rich burgundy top-grain leather with traditional deep button tufting, rolled arms, brass nailhead trim, and solid mahogany legs joined by H-stretchers. Manufactured in Conover, North Carolina, this substantial sofa embodies timeless English club style while offering exceptional comfort and durability. The leather has developed an attractive, even patina from years of careful use, making this an elegant addition to a library, office, study, or traditional living room.
Condition:
Very good vintage condition. The leather exhibits attractive age-related patina, light to moderate surface creasing, and scattered scratches consistent with normal use. Cushions remain supportive with expected softening from use. Minor finish wear is present on the wooden legs, including scuffs and small edge losses. A small area of finish wear is visible along the upper back edge. Brass nailhead trim is complete and secure. Structurally sound and presents beautifully.
